The Brain Twist puzzle, in the computer animation above, gives necessary meaning to the abstract mechanisms created inside the mind of Chuck Hoberman. The puzzle is scrambled by the flipping action shown above, and by twisting the corners of the form. Our team came up with a patented track mechanism designed to work with Hoberman's flipping geared technology. The advent of the new tracks allow the center to be hollow, improve the feel and ergonomics of the motion, and drastically reduces the cost of the toy. (c) Charles Hoberman 2005.
