1) Hoberman Associates

Product Design Engineer for New York City toy company, Aug 2002–July 2004 plus present freelance work. Duties include: everything in the design process from concept generation to manufacturing engineering, Computer aided design of both parametric and complex surfaces models, Mechanical design and styling of toys, design and fabrication of prototypes, working within licensor parameters, routine communication with factory in China, package rendering/design, and working within safety standards for infant preschool ages.

2) The Arnell Group

Feelance Mechanical Engineer Feb 2006 – present. Adding value to
branded assests through proprietary product inventions. Duties include: engineering research, SolidWorks parametric surfacing, FDM prototyping, and mechanical design.

3) Thomas O'Brien and Aero Studios

Product Design Engineer for housewares company, July 2004-Feb. 2006. Helped to execute the largest product launch in Target's history. Duties included: Translating concepts into manufacturable designs, 3D modeling and rendering, technical drawing, photography and communication with licensing partners. Other licensing partners include Visual Comfort Lighting, Hickory Chair furniture, and Salton dishware.

4) Credence Systems

Mechanical Engineering Coop for Automatic Test Equipment manufacturer in semi-conductor industry, Portland Oregon. Jan-Aug 1999, and Aug-Dec of 2000. Duties included: documentation of all manufacturing and assembly drawings for a million dollar machine, and radio frequency housing design. Adapted Skins from FROG design to meet engineering constraints.

5) WUVT 90.7 FM

Chief Engineer for College Radio station. 2001–2002. Duties included: trouble shooting/repair of all equipment at the station, Calibration of and maintainence of 3 kW transmitter, record keeping for the FCC, and training of all people at the station.
